3 Unlikely WorldSmith Characters
About Us

You can only spend so much time debating if trolls get sunburned and designing tavern menus before realizing there has to be a better way. That’s why we built WorldSmith—your AI-powered DnD generator.

Hi, we’re Matt (that’s me!) and Bryce (the best partner ever). From a young age, we took to Dungeon Mastering like a halfling takes to second breakfast—spending countless hours painting minis, sketching maps, and (occasionally) perfecting our goblin mating call impressions. What can we say? We’re dedicated Dungeon Masters.

But as life got busier—school, work, and all that grown-up stuff—we realized there just wasn’t enough time to prep all the wild ideas we had. Using premade DnD campaigns wasn’t the same as creating our own worlds from scratch. And then lightning struck: What if we built a tool that could make worldbuilding easier and faster, but still tailored to our own games and players?
Using premade modules wasn’t the same as creating our own worlds from scratch. And then lightning struck: What if we built a tool that could make worldbuilding easier and faster, but still tailored to our own games and players?
We built WorldSmith for Dungeon Masters like us who want to create rich, custom worlds without spending hours on prep. With WorldSmith, you can whip up maps with our AI-powered dungeon generator, homebrew DnD monsters 5e, quirky NPCs with our AI NPC generator, and custom player characters faster than a wizard can cast fireball (which, in our experience, is dangerously fast).

Today, thousands of Dungeon Masters use WorldSmith and the best game master tools for DnD to turn their ideas into legendary campaigns—without the stress of endless prep. Whether you’re new to DMing and searching for a beginner's guide to being a Dungeon Master, or you’ve been rolling dice for years, we’re here to help you build your world, one unforgettable adventure at a time.

Timeline

WorldSmith Evolution

Phase 1: The Grind Begins

Our love for Dungeon Mastering and worldbuilding hadn’t slowed down, but finding the time to create epic campaigns felt impossible between college classes, part-time jobs, and, on a good month, the occasional date or two. Every session required hours of prep. We wanted something to help us save time and keep the magic alive—so we set out to create it ourselves. That was the beginning of WorldSmith and our journey to develop the best DnD session management tools.

In his free time, he can be found hanging out with his two cats, mountain biking, practicing archery, or gaming. He’s always looking to join in on a D&D adventure and make new friends.

Jonah Henderson

Jonah Henderson
STRDEXCONINTWISCHA

Developer

Jonah Henderson stumbled across D&D later in life, but has since worked hard to make up for lost time. He has played three campaigns to completion and has been putting the "finishing touches" on his own homebrew for the past year or two. He loves music, coding, hot sauce, and sending his various PCs off to their tragic-yet-heroic demises. Never hesitate to ask him about which new system he is trying out this week!
